Michael Beaulac, winemaker and general manager of Pine Ridge Vineyards, is pleased to announce the opening of “Cellar 47,” an inviting new lounge located in the caves of the renowned Stags Leap winery.

Named for the 47-acre estate vineyard surrounding Pine Ridge’s winery in Stags Leap, Cellar 47 is perfect for VIP tastings and special events. Designed by architect Michael Guthrie, who has also designed famed San Francisco eateries such as Coqueta and Fog City Diner, Cellar 47 welcomes guests with rustic elegance. After winding their way through Pine Ridge’s caves – past the beautiful, aging wines in barrel – guests can relax in Cellar 47 in plush leather club chairs around redwood tables. Persian-style carpets and nickel chandeliers crafted in The Netherlands create a warm and interesting contrast to the cave’s exposed rock walls.

“I can’t imagine a better setting for enjoying our spectacular wines,” said Beaulac. “Whether you’re hosting a special event or just want to get away for an intimate tasting with friends, Cellar 47 at Pine Ridge Vineyards is perfect.”

Pine Ridge will offer visitors two options for tasting in Cellar 47 daily. Savor Pine Ridge occurs every day at 11am. It is a guided tasting of five estate Cabernet Sauvignons paired with small bites expertly crafted by Pine Ridge’s chef. The Appellation Tasting takes place daily at 2pm and features Pine Ridge wines from four appellations – also paired with small bites.

Cellar 47 is Napa Valley’s newest venue for private parties up to 30 people and is ideal for special gatherings like rehearsal dinners, milestone birthdays and corporate functions. Cellar 47 can be booked by calling 800-575-9777 or by emailing Concierge@PineRidgeWine.com.
